Hurricane Helene Response South Carolina Hit by Tree Limb 2024

While bucking a storm damaged tree from Hurricane Helene on the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests, South Carolina, a sawyer was struck on the helmet by a limb. The impact forced his head into the top handle of the chainsaw and broke a tooth. A Yellow medical response was initiated, and the injured sawyer was transported by government vehicle to the local ER. The injured sawyer was treated and released.
